There are opportunities to use The Framework both on an individual basis or within the wider organisational context. The Framework is evidence based; being grounded in research with 150 NHS Chief Executives and Directors of all disciplines. The Framework sets the standard for outstanding leadership in the NHS. The framework has a number of applications: personal development board development leadership profiling for recruitment and selection career mapping succession planning connecting leadership capability performance management There are fifteen qualities within The Framework, arranged in three clusters - Personal Qualities, Setting Direction and Delivering the Service.
