Clinical Cases and Images There is a big difference between what is read in books and what is seen in clinical practice every day. Somehow, the patients are different from their disease description in the textbooks. As one experienced physician put it succinctly: "his CHF did not read the book." This site aims to bridge this gap between theory and practice by creating a case-based curriculum of clinical medicine.
This curriculum was started by physicians at the Cleveland Clinic and the Case Western Reserve University (St. Vincent/St. Luke) Internal Medicine Residency Program for the purpose of medical education.
